How long does this treatment last?

Healing process:

• Allow fresh eyebrows seven to ten days to heal. By the second day, you should be feeling better with the sensitivity stopping shortly.The swelling and redness can take up 3 days to resolve. Swelling will impact their symmetry over the next week.

• Don't be worried if the strokes have disappeared/are missing/flaking off, it takes the pigment roughly 4 weeks to resurface.

• For the first 4 to 6 days the eyebrows will appear bold and dark, the colour will drop by 40 percent and thickness by 10 to 15 percent when healed.

• Recommend getting a “touch-up” of your shaded eyebrows at least once every 1.5 years. This touch-up will involve adding pigment to the outline of the brows that you have already.

• After your skin is fully healed, you’ll want to protect your brows by taking care of your skin. Applying a sunscreen to the brows area may help prevent fading. Like similar cosmetic treatments — such as eyebrow tattooing — is permanent but will fade. Fading may occur at a faster rate than brow tattooing due to the smaller amount of pigment used. Two years after your initial procedure, you’ll most likely have to repeat the procedure in its entirety.
